We’ve just heard from EA NZ that Left 4 Dead 2 will be receiving an R18 rating in New Zealand because of the graphic violence depicted in the game.

Not that we’re at all surprised I mean, running around with a shotgun and blowing people’s (or zombies) heads off isn’t considered viewing for the kiddies! Dismembered body parts aside, we’re not losing sleep over this, and would prefer to have all the graphically violent scenes left in!

Left 4 Dead 2 arrives this November!! Keep your eyes peeled.
