The trials and tribulations of MMO gaming can be varied and challenging. After some serious investigation into the realm of MMO gaming, I discovered that the LAG monster is well and truly still claiming victims. An excerpt from the original post:

I spent some time playing Allods Online which (to begin with) seemed like a great MMO. But this didn’t last. For some reason, I just couldn’t stay connected due to the hurrendous lag. My computer would time out in the middle of a gaming session and at crucial times – if you’ve ever played an MMO before, you’ll know how annoying it can be to get disconnected right in the middle of killing something. What’s even more annoying is that I chose to play a healer so if the healer in your group suddenly lags out, the entire party can be instantly affected. Not good.
