We’ve just recently reviewed Magic The Gathering: 2012 Duels of the Planeswalkers which our reviewer scored a 4 outta 5 stars. That’s pretty good so if you’re into Magic games, check it out! Podcast member Siobhan Keogh also discusses her experiences with Magic The Gathering 2012 via the “Well Played” podcast this week which you can check out here. But if it’s artwork you’re after, you’ll be in for a treat because I felt compelled to feature two beautiful pieces of artwork from the game because it’s actually pretty kick-ass.
Although I haven’t had a chance to dabble for long in the world of Magic 2012, the characters have certainly caught my eye, especially Sorin Markov who also features on the cover for the game. And the cover artwork for Magic The Gathering 2012 Duels of the Planeswalkers is also very cool. I’m not sure who the artist is responsible for this image but if you find out, let me know and I’ll credit it!
There are dozens of art-work images used in Magic 2012 and the two featured are a couple of my favourites. If you’re interested in checking out others, you can do so via the official website for the game here, or visit artist Michael Komarck’s site here.
