First hinted, then leaked, now confirmed, EA/BioWare’s massive Mass Effect 3 title will have a multiplayer/co-op element.
Just what that is and how it will fit into the very single player orientated storyline (remembering that the Mass Effect series relies heavily on individual player choice, making no two games the same) is anybodies guess but Executive Producer Casey Hudson confirmed via Twitter that the game will have “co-op MP missions“
Is this new twist on the hugely popular series a precursor to the much rumoured Mass Effect MMO?
Exciting times ahead for all ME fans but will this news be enough to sway our own Editor in Chief, Julie Gray, towards buying into the franchise?

Ok maybe the multiplayer mode will actually be worth checking out, as for the MMO
It’ll get crushed by SWTOR anyway so I don’t know why they’re bothering…
